Drop 008: Stop and Smell the Flowers

Not every run has to be fast.

That's the idea behind Drop 008. The Stop And Smell The Flowers Tee started as a thought we kept coming back to.. That the most meaningful moments in running aren't always the PRs or the finish lines. Sometimes it's the wildflowers you almost ran past. The sunrise you caught because you showed up. The quiet stretch of trail where everything slows down for a minute and you remember why you started doing this.

We wanted to make something that holds that feeling.

The design

The tee features an oversized back graphic inspired by resilient desert blooms, the kind that grow in places you wouldn't expect, in conditions that aren't exactly forgiving. A distressed NCRC logo on the left chest keeps it grounded.

Vintage white. Heavyweight premium cotton. The kind of shirt that gets better the more you wear it.

Why this one matters to us

Every drop we've done has had something behind it. This one is probably the most personal.

We talk a lot about showing up without pressure, about running being for everyone regardless of pace or experience. But there's another layer to that… running is also one of the few places where you can actually be present. No meetings, no notifications, no noise. Just you and the road or the trail and whatever's happening around you.

The name isn't just a phrase. It's a reminder. Slow down enough to notice what's there. The run will still count. The miles will still happen. But you might come back with something more than a number on your watch.

That felt worth putting on a shirt.
